KFFL AI Picks Record:
Last Week: 5-2
Overall: 20-15
KFFL AI Picks for Week 6:
Pack Attack (2-3) over 16hrs Ahead of You!! (3-2)
pack slayer (2-3) over Big Papa (2-3)
DaUnderdog (4-1) over BIGBOY! (2-3)
Bossman (3-2) over Sportsfreak (1-4)
HHH (4-1) over teamAlaska (3-2)
Starrfavrerodg (2-3) over PackerFANatic7 (1-4)
U Don't Know (3-2) over Rapids Plungers (3-2)
The bye weeks are biting harder than ever. J Gibbs, J Chase, J Jefferson, A St. Brown, J Burrow and J Goff are all sitting this one out, and so are half of DaUnderdog's and teamAlaska's starting lineups. There will be waiver claims flying all weekend. Whoever patches their holes best might just win the week.
Pack Attack (2-3) vs 16hrs Ahead of You!! (3-2) — GAME OF THE WEEK
The biggest game on the board this week has a lot riding on it for both sides. Pack Attack sits at 56.8% to make the playoffs with a win and 25.0% with a loss, a 32 point swing in week six. 16hrs goes from 78.8% down to 47.3%. A loss drops Pack Attack into a 2-4 hole with roughly a one in four chance at the playoffs. A win puts them right back in the middle of the race.
The timing could hardly be better for Pack Attack. J Gibbs is on bye. The #1 overall pick, the player who scored 39.87 last week, will spend Sunday on the couch. So will K Murray and W Reichard. 16hrs (3-2) is projected for 98.63 after scoring 166 a week ago, and C Williams (15.38) is expected back at quarterback for the first time since week 2. D Smith is questionable too and probably will not play.
P Nacua (22.55) is projected highest in this game, which is exactly what Pack Attack wanted from the fourth overall pick. L Jackson (14.64) is back in the lineup but questionable and with back to back missed practices it doesn't look great, and there is still no backup quarterback on the roster, so Sunday morning will involve some refreshing. The history is firmly with Pack Attack too: they lead this series 19-6, their best record against anybody in this league, and they have won the last four, including 150.73 to 103.07 a year ago.
Prediction:
I don't pick my own games, so this one goes to the KFFL AI, and it likes Pack Attack at 67.4%. The case for is simple: the best player in this matchup is on bye, the projections favor Pack Attack by 17 points, and Pack Attack has owned this series for twenty years. The case against is that L Jackson is questionable with nobody behind him, and that 16hrs put up 166 last week with six of their starters scoring seven or less, so this team can find points in strange ways. The KFFL AI's pick is Pack Attack.
Historical Look at this Match-Up:
- Regular Season Match-ups: 25
- Record: Advantage Pack Attack at 19-6
- PPG Avg: Advantage Pack Attack 118.39 to 104.29
- Current Streak: Pack Attack W4
- Last Meeting: 2025 — Pack Attack 150.73, 16hrs 103.07
Big Papa (2-3) vs pack slayer (2-3)
For four straight weeks I have written in this preview that C.J. Stroud was sitting on Big Papa's bench behind J Goff. This week, finally, C.J. Stroud starts at quarterback. It only took a J Goff bye to make it happen. I will miss writing that sentence.
The rest of the roster is in rough shape. B Hall is doubtful and S Barkley is questionable, T.J. Hockenson is on bye, and Big Papa has lost three straight. They also made their first trade of the season, sending M Harrison Jr. to PackerFANatic7 for D Vele, who goes straight into the flex at 8.21. But they are projected around 97, among the lowest in the league, and pack slayer is projected at 120.
pack slayer gets K Walker III (16.68) back from his bye, and M Stafford (19.22) has been one of the best quarterbacks in this league since that 1.03 opener. They are 39-26 against the field and 2-3, which is the archetype in its purest form. The series is as close as it gets: pack slayer leads 8-7, Big Papa outscores them by less than a point a game, and they have split two playoff meetings.
Prediction: Stafford is in a smash spot against the Cardinals and there are a number of players on pack slayer's team that the matchups are on their side. I expect pack slayer to win this one rather easily.
Historical Look at this Match-Up:
- Regular Season Match-ups: 15
- Record: Advantage pack slayer at 8-7
- PPG Avg: Advantage Big Papa 107.75 to 107.02
- Current Streak: Big Papa W1
- Last Meeting: 2025 — Big Papa 115.59, pack slayer 82.29
- Playoff Meetings: 2 (split 1-1)
BIGBOY! (2-3) vs DaUnderdog (4-1)
First place against the reigning champion, and the first time these two have met since last year's playoffs, when BIGBOY! beat DaUnderdog 147.74 to 113.79 on the way to the second straight title. DaUnderdog has had a year to think about that one and all of the smack talk that continues to happen between these two makes this one a must watch!
DaUnderdog has won four straight and leads the league in points. But the bye week has carved a hole right through the middle of this lineup: A Jones Sr., T Higgins and the Vikings defense are all on bye, and as of Thursday all three slots are sitting empty in the lineup. Yahoo projects DaUnderdog for 87 as it stands. Fill those three spots sensibly and they are right back around 107, but that is a lot of work to do on the waiver wire for a first place team.
BIGBOY! is without J Jefferson, on bye, and D Samuel Sr. is out. But they are projected for 107 anyway, because S Shrader (10.07) keeps kicking and J Brissett (13.41), D London (13.24) and G Wilson (12.39) have all been producing. They are 2-3 after last week's win and the 2018 comparison is starting to look less like a joke. BIGBOY! leads this series 10-6 and has won two of three playoff meetings, including the one that mattered most.
Prediction: This is hard to predict given how DaUnderdog's lineup looks right now. There is one guy I trust this week for DaUnderdog and it's Bowers. He should be in line for a massive day the question then is can they find points somewhere else and try to steal a win here? It in all likelihood needs to come from Bo Nix tonight. BIGBOY! has a solid lineup this week despite Deebo and Jefferson not playing. These are some solid name players and I could see them having big games but they are also very volatile and there is no one you trust completely. I do think BIGBOY! has the better players this week however and I like them to get the win. DaUnderdog may need to be up 15 after tonight's game if they want to have a shot!
Historical Look at this Match-Up:
- Regular Season Match-ups: 16
- Record: Advantage BIGBOY! at 10-6
- PPG Avg: Advantage BIGBOY! 110.00 to 104.08
- Current Streak: BIGBOY! W1
- Last Meeting: 2025 — BIGBOY! 147.74, DaUnderdog 113.79
- Playoff Meetings: 3 (BIGBOY! leads 2-1)
Bossman (3-2) vs Sportsfreak (1-4)
Bossman lost last week by 1.47 points while posting the best all-play record in the league, and they are now 3-2 with a 51-14 record against the field. Bossman has every right to feel robbed. This week J Burrow is on bye, so T Shough (14.87) starts, but J Smith-Njigba (21.72) goes Thursday night and is projected higher than anybody else in this game.
Sportsfreak is 1-4 with a 5% chance at the playoffs, and they have made a curious decision this week. J Daniels scored 29.85 last week in his return from injury, has no injury tag, and is sitting on the bench at 15.41 while B Young (13.90) starts. Maybe there is a reason. On paper they have benched their best quarterback. T McMillan (10.42) is back from his bye at least.
The last time these two met, Sportsfreak won 149.67 to 83.72, and they have won the last two. But Bossman leads the series 15-7 and outscores them by five a game.
Prediction: I am going to keep this one brief as it is really hard for me to pick Sportsfreak right now. I don't love the team Bossman is rolling out with this week but they continue to do what they have done year in and year out and find ways to win. I expect that to happen again this week and put Sportsfreak in a must win scenario for the rest of the season!
Historical Look at this Match-Up:
- Regular Season Match-ups: 22
- Record: Advantage Bossman at 15-7
- PPG Avg: Advantage Bossman 124.84 to 119.97
- Current Streak: Bossman L2
- Last Meeting: 2025 — Bossman 83.72, Sportsfreak 149.67
- Playoff Meetings: 1 (Bossman leads 1-0)
HHH (4-1) vs teamAlaska (3-2)
Brother battle! HHH against teamAlaska, and it arrives with HHH on a four game winning streak and sitting in second place. Four straight wins, a 4-1 record, and a 29-36 record against the field. HHH has been getting away with it all season and nobody has caught them yet.
But a word of warning to my brother. HHH has started a season 4-1 or better seven times before. Last year they started 5-0 — and finished 7-7 and missed the playoffs. They are one of the best September teams in the history of this league but have a habit of fading. The worst part this week is they will be without their best player in J Chase as he is on a bye!
teamAlaska has some bye week issues as well as J Addison and S LaPorta are out. As of this writing the flex spot is empty, and Yahoo projects them for 68.96. They will have to pull four players off the bench or the waiver wire to make this a game, and even then it is HHH's to lose. D Maye (17.81) is the reason for hope — he went for 44.15 last week, the highest individual score in the league. But here is the strange part: teamAlaska leads this series 15-8. HHH outscores them a little, has the better roster this week by a mile, and has still lost this matchup almost twice as often as it has won it. Last year's meeting, though, was 185.11 to 88.22 in HHH's favor.
Prediction: Jordan Love should be solid again this week against Dallas. McBride and Nabers should be good and I do like Hubbard against the Eagles (or what's left of them). For teamAlaska it's J Taylor, Maye and Flowers. I think this one has a chance to be much closer then what Yahoo has it projected but I am going with HHH to eeek out another win and move to 5-1 on the season!
Historical Look at this Match-Up:
- Regular Season Match-ups: 23
- Record: Advantage teamAlaska at 15-8
- PPG Avg: Advantage HHH 117.17 to 115.01
- Current Streak: HHH W1
- Last Meeting: 2025 — HHH 185.11, teamAlaska 88.22
- Playoff Meetings: 1 (teamAlaska leads 1-0)
PackerFANatic7 (1-4) vs Starrfavrerodg (2-3)
The best sideshow of the week is buried in this matchup. PackerFANatic7's Dallas stack plays Starrfavrerodg's Packers stack in the same game — Dallas at Green Bay, Sunday night. D Prescott, C Lamb and B Aubrey on one side. C Watson, T Kraft and T Smack on the other. Whichever NFL team moves the ball on Sunday night probably decides this one, and it will not be settled until the very last game Sunday.
PackerFANatic7 has been busy. If you have not received a trade offer yet, I am not sure what to tell you. They swung another trade with Big Papa, sending D Vele over for M Harrison Jr., who has since been traded in real life to the Texans, so good luck with that. B Aubrey, who kicked for pack slayer earlier this season, is now theirs too, and K Miller has ended up on BIGBOY!'s bench. They are 1-4, have lost three straight, and still have an empty defensive slot to fill. C Lamb went 42.05 two weeks ago and 2.45 last week, so nobody knows which version shows up Sunday night.
Starrfavrerodg has its own emergency. J Hurts is out, still sitting in the starting lineup at 0.00, and M Willis is on bye. That leaves K Cousins (15.52), who went undrafted in August, as the obvious replacement on the bench. With him in, Starrfavrerodg projects as one of the stronger teams on the board. They lead this series 4-2 and won the last meeting 166.71 to 101.49.
Prediction: PackerFANatic7 is sitting in the Sportsfreak section when it comes to picking games and that is I don't see myself picking them if it is remotely close. Prescott, Lamb and Warren are good but outside of that there isn't much to be excited about. Starrfavrerodg as mentioned will be forced to play K Cousins or find a QB in the Free agent pool but I am not sure that will be a downgrade. I like Starrfavrerodg to get the win in this one!
Historical Look at this Match-Up:
- Regular Season Match-ups: 6
- Record: Advantage Starrfavrerodg at 4-2
- PPG Avg: Advantage Starrfavrerodg 131.55 to 113.96
- Current Streak: PackerFANatic7 L1
- Last Meeting: 2025 — PackerFANatic7 101.49, Starrfavrerodg 166.71
Rapids Plungers (3-2) vs U Don't Know (3-2)
Two 3-2 teams, two of the four highest projections on the board, and the second biggest playoff swing of the week. U Don't Know started 3-0 and has lost two straight, both close, both with big points left on the bench. Last week it was I Likely (27.70) sitting there while G Kittle started and scored 6.20, in a game they lost by 4.60. This week I Likely is in the lineup. Lesson learned.
They are without A St. Brown, on bye, but J Allen (22.40) is projected second highest of anybody on the board this week, behind only P Nacua. P Mahomes is sitting on their bench again at 15.68, because U Don't Know has two of the best quarterbacks in football and can only play one.
Rapids Plungers keeps finding ways. They have scored over 100 in every game this season, and last week they won while going 4-9 against the field. B Robinson (17.79) and B Purdy (18.18) lead a lineup with no bye problems at all, though C Olave, R Rice and D Waller are all questionable. Rapids Plungers leads this series 10-9 and outscores U Don't Know by nearly eight a game, and won last year's meeting 142.59 to 113.58.
Prediction: This is a fun one! I can see a lot of points all over and that's why Yahoo has them both projected really well! I am going to assume that everyone with the Q tag plays and if that is the case I like Rapids Plungers to win! Olave/Bijan/P Washington/Stevenson (with Henderson likely out) and Purdy should account for a lot of points and I expect that to be enough to take down a really good U Don't Know team! Rapids Plungers with the win!
Historical Look at this Match-Up:
- Regular Season Match-ups: 19
- Record: Advantage Rapids Plungers at 10-9
- PPG Avg: Advantage Rapids Plungers 129.69 to 121.83
- Current Streak: Rapids Plungers W1
- Last Meeting: 2025 — Rapids Plungers 142.59, U Don't Know 113.58
- Playoff Meetings: 1 (U Don't Know leads 1-0)
My Picks
pack slayer over Big Papa
BIGBOY! over DaUnderdog
Bossman over Sportsfreak
HHH over teamAlaska
Starrfavrerodg over PackerFANatic7
Rapids Plungers over U Don't Know
